What is the guarantee or warranty on Typhur products?Updated 22 minutes ago

All Typhur products (excluding accessories) come with a standard 2-year warranty. 

If your product develops a manufacturing defect or performance issue within the first two years of purchase, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost. This warranty applies only to new products purchased directly from this website or through authorised retailers or sales channels.

Refurbished, renewed, and open-box products are not eligible. Replacement units do not receive a new warranty term and are covered only for the remaining balance of the original applicable warranty period. Please retain your proof of purchase to verify eligibility and process any warranty claim.


What’s Covered
  • Hardware defects (manufacturing defects) in components under normal use
  • Free repair or replacement (at our discretion)
Replacement color options may vary and are subject to availability.

What’s Not Covered
Typhur warranty does not cover:
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use or storage or cleaning
  • Accidental damage or breakage
  • Power spikes, lightning or load-shedding related damage
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Use outside intended purpose or instructions
  • Commercial usage
Typhur’s responsibility is limited to replacing defective components.
We are not liable for indirect damages. Terms may change without prior notice.

Guarantee Claim Procedure

To file a guarantee claim, as a customer you must:

  • Contact the retailer or Typhur South Africa Customer Service within the warranty period:
    • If the product was purchased through a retailer, you must return the product to the store where the product was purchased.
    • If the product was purchased online from the Typhur South Africa website, please contact us directly using our web form.
  • Provide a valid proof of purchase or Typhur South Africa online order reference:
    • If the product was purchased through a retailer, provide a receipt or invoice indicating retailer name and date of purchase.
    • If the product was purchased online from the Typhur South Africa website, provide your valid order reference [e.g. TYOR12345678]
  • Supply clear and sufficient images of the fault or defect, if requested:
    • If the product was purchased through a retailer, we may request these from the store or area sales agent.
    • If the product was purchased online from the Typhur South Africa website, you may upload these images when completing the web form, or send them via email to our Customer Service department once your request is initiated, if requested.
  • Return the defective part or product to us, if requested, for inspection. We will arrange courier collection with you in some cases, or you may return the product to our offices for assessment (please make contact with us via the web form prior to visiting).
